Marathon week was a massive success, with everyone achieving 42.43km. We've seen the best of Vaucluse, Rose Bay and Bondi at 5.30 in the morning, nodding a good morning to the other many early birds out in the dark getting their exercise done whilst the mere mortals sleep in.
The runs were familiar like an old friend encouraging us along the road, ticking off milestones and familiar landmarks. Admittedly the last 2 km up Old South Head Rd nearly mentally broke most of us, but getting to the cemetery with 50 meters to go was a glorious site - if only the Grumpy baker open just a little earlier! Well done everyone, very proud of yous all!

Detox has finished - Yippee!
Well done everyone- 28 days of detox done and in the bag as we like to say! Hard as it was, the liver and internal organs are grateful for the rest. Now that you have established good eating habits, try to maintain them going forward. Introduce some indulgences back into your life, but don't go crazy; especially with sugar - it really is the legal addictive drug - screwing with you appetite, blood sugar, palate. I would advice that it remains the sweet treat that follows a main meal and doesn't usurp it.

2012 - New Year New Start
Fat Blaster February is really a focus on detoxing after the excesses of the christmas holidays. As with all detox programs, a common byproduct is weight loss. So I have tweeked the Fat Blaster program to reduce our christmas chub whilst giving our bodies a chance to cleanse it self.
Its just 28 days, 4 weeks - try to focus on detoxing rather than dieting and enjoy the light feeling inside and out. I don't know about you, but I'm little bloated from all the Smelly Granny cider and Quality Street i've been having over the last 6 weeks. Enough is enough! Lets do it!
